Broomrapes (Orobanche)

Thorogood, Chris, &, Rumsey, Fred     [ 2021 ]

Broomrapes are among Britain and Ireland''s most curously beautiful and least understood plants. Renowend for being taxonomically challenging, identification of broomrapes in the field can be straightforward with careful examination. The book gives detailed, illustrated accounts of each species so that they may be identified reliably. All species known to occur in Britain and Ireland are covered, including one or two casual species that may be exctinct, or encountered very infrequently. It is hoped that this book will stimulate interests in broomrapes broady, and promote their much-needed conservation focus in the region.
